As I touched on in an earlier post, we were bummed to miss Taylor and Allie's wedding a couple weekends ago as it was out in Oregon and a trip out there wasn't really feasible for us right now. While we were disappointed to miss it, on the flip side, we were thrilled to spend a weekend in Kansas for the wedding reception! The Herrmanns made the trip out as well, and it was so great to all be there at the same time (we missed the rest of the Lemans though!).
The reception was on Friday evening and so then we had the whole day Saturday to just spend together! The dads and younger boys went and hung out a gym to burn some energy, the younger girls spent time creating and playing together, the moms just simply talked, and the six of us older ones spent the day in Topeka!
We decided to try an escape room together! It was an awesome team building experience:). And we were thrilled to actually solve the mystery with just 43 seconds left in our hour (doesn't matter how many hints we used...). The guy who was viewing us and giving us hints throughout the hour told us at the end that we worked really good together!
