There's a Song in the Air

Since Dave started listening to Christmas music in October, we've had the chance to experience all kinds of wonderful tunes floating across the airwaves of our home. We are not sick of it yet! But one of the best ways to experience the sounds of Christmas is to make the music yourself...

A few weeks ago, Faith had the wonderful opportunity to play her violin with some friends, some of which played the flute. It was beautiful!! They were joined by a music major from ISU that happened to be visiting friends and had spent the morning playing her flute at Fairview Haven. She was asked to stay and join the girls, which she was excited to do! It was one of those randomly perfect situations that present themselves here and there amongst the more carefully planned and thought out ones :)

And that evening, we got to attend Lily's third String Project concert. She is doing so good and loves, loves, loves being in the Project with so many of her good friends. They have so much fun together! I didn't end up choosing the best of the songs they preformed to video- (and its not a Christmas song and you can't see Lily) but at least I got something to remember it by (other than all the clapping :) )
