Summer So Far

It's time for a phone dump after so many awesome memories and just plain stay-at-home garden days have passed! Summer has begun with a booming start and the days go by faster than we can keep track of :).

Our garden work the past few weeks has consisted of spreading woodchips around plants/walk spaces/landscaping and anywhere else! When Mom told us she was getting a ton of wood chips she was serious - in fact, it amounted to 16 tons of wood chips! That's a lot to scoop and spread :). But they are all spread now and we are hoping they keep down weeds and keep in moisture...

the pool is up and running, thanks to Dad, Brandon and the boys! we will enjoy all summer long :)

When everyone else was gone for the evening, Mom and the littles stole away for a picnic...

Spent a day babysitting five of the sweetest kiddos around! We had lots of fun, thanks to the perfect weather outdoors!

Breakfast time for the kittens :). We had a batch of six and then adopted another abandoned one that fit right in. They are the cutest batch we've ever had - and we've got more on the way:).

a big broccoli harvest today! Nothing beats homegrown broccoli ... if you're hungry for it, we have it selling tomorrow at the market :).
that's a lot of lettuce :) Our gourmet head lettuce has been a fun crop this year!

Enjoyed another day of babysitting today! Bubbles, chalk, sprinkler, water balloons, and bike/stroller rides kept the three neighbor kiddos entertained  :).

This past weekend was an awesome one as we were in Princeville for Todd's baptism! It was great to catch up with cousins - short but sweet and crazy :). Love you all and can't wait till next time!!
matching shirts, ironically :)

There you have it - the start of the summer in snapshots! It's been great so far... can't wait to see what all happens in the months to come :). Never a dull moment around here, which means plenty of moments for counting our blessings! -faith
