Our Apologies {cough, cough}

My apologies for the absence of posts on our blog. November (and sadly now December too) was a rough month. We've had a terrible respiratory virus or something of the like, and no matter how many antibiotics or natural cures (believe me, we've tried everything), it still keeps raging on. Mom and I began with colds the first of November. Mom got over hers but mine deepened into bad chest congestion which lasted for a long time. I eventually got on antibiotic and got over it. As of now, I am the only one completely healthy in our house, and I am waiting for the awful moment when I come down with it again.

During the first week of November, Marcus started with a headache, and spent the next nine days in the chair with a fever and pneumonia. He still has a lingering cough. But at least he's up and moving again. However, Jared, Lily and Kenan have now started coughing. A doctor's appointment for the three of them on Tuesday revealed pneumonia for Jared and Kenan and a bad cough for Lily. Thus resulted in antibiotics for all three of them and they are on the mend hopefully. But that's not the end of it. Yesterday Mom and Dad both came down with it. Mom crawled back in bed and slept all morning and Dad came home from work and slept the whole afternoon.

So there you have it - I wouldn't be surprised if you're depressed just reading these paragraphs. We are all so ready to be done with all of this sickness. We're all praying desperately that we are over it before the Christmas festivities begin. Satan must be determined to foil our CD plans as ever since we started it someone's been sick! We were able to get a lot done a couple of weeks ago though, and as of now we are waiting on a time when we can go get the last two songs done.  We are thankful that we were able to be at Blunier Thanksgiving and Leman Christmas this past weekend - but it was a stretch as Kenan and Lily were both coughing. We did make some great memories though and so an exciting post is on it's way. Hopefully health is on it's way, too. Wouldn't that be nice? -Faith
