Kenan's Korner

Hi, I am Kenan. Many people wonder what I do all day. 

 That's a good question. And its also a challenge.

Back when we were still in school, everybody else did school except for me. But everybody had to take turns playing with me too. I like letters, play-doh, playing on the computer, dot paints, playing ping-pong, and reading my Bible.

 The one thing I don't like is playing by myself. And when we start school again, Mom says I have to a little bit every day. I am very concerned about this.

 Crafts are very fun. I love whenever anybody does a craft with me.  Here is a spring craft we worked on for quite a while. I got to put my toes in paint to make the caterpillars. (I let Jared do it too- he just looked like he really wanted to.) Then we found a real caterpillar egg. It hatched and we watched it grow. It likes to eat as much as I do! The best part was when it turned into a butterfly.

 I love spring and I love summer and I'm always wondering when it will be fall (and when it will be tomorrow and when we are going to Colorado and when it will be Sunday again and when will I have a birthday and when...)

 OK so I can't smile on demand. But that's okay- Dad can't either and he is a very smiley person in real life.

Now its summer and really, I get to do whatever I want to all day. I don't like to work and Mom says that is a real problem.  Everybody else works in the garden. I like to water Mom's flowers and Jared- he needs to grow some more anyway. I like to spin my pinwheel and there's usually enough wind for that.

Lily plays with me lots and lots. She is good at that (she doesn't really like to work either.) We like to make tents. One time we even had breakfast out there. 

I like to pretend I am working. We just got a new bunkbed and I really like the ladder. 

 

 That's all for now. I'm getting hungry anyway. So I will talk to you more tomorrow (wait, when is that again?)  -Kenan
