On Saturday, May 17th, Dad, Jared, and Marcus went to Pontiac to get chicken feed. Then on the way home we went to Seth and Micah's grandparents house to pick them up. That evening we had a picnic and then after supper Joshua and Caleb came, because there were testimonies at church.

That night we got the mower out and mowed a baseball diamond. We spent the whole evening outside playing ball. Then we came in and went to bed at about 1:45.

The next day we went to church and then their grandparents took them back to their house.
The next Thursday night we were at game night and afterwards brought home Seth, Lexi, Megan, and Kate. That night Marcus and Seth lit a fire outside and the girls came out and we roasted marshmallows and Starbursts. That night Marcus and Seth slept in a tent and in the morning we cooked our own breakfast over the fire.
For breakfast we scrambled some eggs, fried some bacon, and made toast.
That morning we finished building the dog house that Marcus has been working on for a while.

Marcus and Seth also went kayaking with Derek. We did it in the Indian Creek and it took about two hours. We ended at Derek's Aunt and Uncles house and there we sprayed our kayaks out. Several times while we were in the water we had to get out to go around trees that had fallen in the water. That's why they were kind of muddy.

We can't believe we got to be with the Meyers and the Knapps in one week- what a great week it was....
