There's No One Quite Like Jared

Jared is our family's so-called chicken de-boner- and has upheld that title very faithfully for quite some time now, usually on Monday's, like today. So, I had him all set up de-boning several chickens this afternoon so we can enjoy lots of warm and tasty chicken dishes in the days to come (when food in the freezer will be desperately needed IF we have an oven to cook them in), picturing him dreaming of those cute little chicks while he worked or that one chicken he kissed good-bye last fall. I had to go downstairs to attend to some duty or another and was out of the kitchen for quite some time. When I returned, I found him leaning over the table with my camera. And this is what I saw on the table:

 

This kid leaves his mark wherever he goes! He's definitely left his mark on us.
