Last week, half of the United States was covered with snow- and we were in that half! This was what I had been waiting for for three years. Because of the snow, church was cancelled so we called our neighbors to come over and spend the morning with us. So after a bit of thinking, they came over in spite of the weather. We had a great time- we heard a little sermon from our good old neighbor and then we played some around the world ping pong with their family and then about 12:00, they left. And then we ate lunch. Next, we listened to a real sermon and then relaxed until bed time.
On Monday, Dad stayed home from work. And we had to do school whether there were four foot drifts or not. (too bad we're homeschooled) Sometime in the morning, someone came to our house and plowed the drive with a tractor and a snow blower.
On Tuesday, I went outside to see how deep the snow was. It was really deep, FINALLY!!! It was so deep it covered a little pine tree that is about three feet high. There was a lot of snow- there was even snow between the screen and window, And there was ice around the window inside. It was really cold those few days, JUST THE WAY I LIKE IT. But the snow is melting so I still sing "Let It Snow," "Let It Snow," "Let It Snow." -Jared
