But we saved our real celebration for today (Wednesday) because the Waibels were coming to join us. Before they came, we did Mom's second thing for our 100th Day -which was that she would read to us while we did the puzzle until we got 100 puzzle pieces on our puzzle. We didn't know how long that would take.
She started reading, and pretty soon, we heard "found one!" "found another one!"
Jared and Micah (more about them later) kept score.
How long do you think it took?We enjoyed having a yummy lunch of hot ham and cheese sandwiches, carrot fries, apples and dip, and a great 100 day dessert the Waibels brought.
the boys had a table
here is the girl table (and Kenan)
We all brought 100 things:
the dessert had 100 candies
I brought 100 beads
Marcus brought 100 ft of string
Jared brought 100 pennies
Micah brought 100 pencils
Kenan brought 100 candies
Jonathan brought Psalm 100 that he read to us
Jeana brought a 100 piece puzzle
Laban brought a 100 piece puzzle
Bryn brought 100 pieces of licorice
Christine brought the 100th verse in Matthew
Faith brought a paragraph with 100 words about our past 100 days of school along with making 100 carrot sticks for lunch
The boys ended the day by having a paper airplane war with the 100 paper airplanes they had made the night before.

I am not sure how our next 100 Day party could be in any better than this one. -Lily
