Birthday Blitz: Part IV

(well, at least we don't have to think up titles for all these past posts!)

You may notice that we've been a little late in posting about our Birthday Blitz around here. You have to realize that when most of your children have birthdays around Christmas, it gets a little difficult to post about them timely! We celebrate for a good eleven days at our house this time of the year in order to get all our Christmas gatherings and Birthday parties in. Nonetheless, every one of our children are extra special and deserve the best birthday treatment possible!

Jared is no exception to that thought... Jared got to celebrate his birthday in conjunction with the Leman Christmas this year. When we woke up that morning I told Kara "we can't forget to tell Jared Happy Birthday." Well I forgot - that is until I heard Kara tell him. We did remember to sing Happy Birthday to him thanks to Mom Leman.

Jared, I hope you had a really great day, because you deserve it! You are so cool! I appreciate your great sense of humor and love to see your smily face everyday. I'm glad you are my little boy.... Dad
We love you, birthday boy! Happy 10th!

Here are some highlights from Leman Christmas (which actually started on Friday evening):
one very long tableful of love!

we tried to get a picture of everyone from tallest to shortest, but its kind of hard to see the difference here

ping pong tournaments are always fun- Dawn and Laura were the grand champions this year

So great to have Grant and Hannah and Ivory with us!

kids' grab (that's one thing we have plenty to grab at- KIDS!)
Kenan was too worn out to stay awake through slides and family videos- I think he would have slept here all night just fine

It was a wonderful time with family - thanks, Mom and Dad, for all the memories :)
(I think I will add Blunier Christmas pictures to the Christmas day post- so go back to see those)

As far as Jared and his birthday- don't feel too badly for him if you think he got jipped. We are still going to celebrate it yet- but we are waiting to combine him with the last one to go.....
