So...we are remodeling our basement! We are planning on making the toyroom a bedroom for all the boys, so that when we get our little girl from Ethiopia, the current boy room will be hers and Lily's. In order for the toyroom to become a bedroom, we have to find a place for all the toys! So, we made a big closet in the main room of the basement. Denny Z. came and did it and the boys really enjoyed helping him. Hopefully Denny enjoyed it as much! (one time I, Kara, went down to check on them after being upstairs awhile to make sure they weren't in the way and found Kenan standing on a stool near the closet, blowing a pitch pipe full volume and without interruption, Jared was playing with a tool, and Marcus, thankfully, appeared to be working - I thought, oh dear, Denny probably needs a break! but when I asked how he was doing, he assured me they were having a "great time!" :) He's really made it a wonderful learning experience for Marcus, especially.) The outside of the closet is pretty much finished now and the shelves are bought, but need to be put in. The painting in the big room is done, so soon we will be tearing into the toyroom!

Painting...thankfully our basement and schoolroom doesn't look like this anymore! -Faith
