Girls, Games, and Gifts for others...

On Wednesday, Lily and I got to go the Denny and Pam's house with the other girls in our play night group. This was Lily's first year to do it and she was thrilled! When we got to their house, the first thing we did was decorate some Christmas cookies. We frosted the sugar cookies they had made beforehand, and dipped Oreos and peppermint sticks. After we were done with the cookies, we had a scrumptious lunch! When everyone was finished with lunch, it was time for the craft. We decorated pint jars with burlap and ribbon and then placed a candle inside to be used for a beautiful center piece. We also decorated jars that were filled with hot chocolate mix. We also enjoyed playing some games outside and inside between the different things that we did. When everyone was ready, we all got in the van and went to deliver some goodies to a few elderly people. We gave them each a jar of hot chocolate mix, some peppermint sticks to go with it, and a few cookies. Then it was time to go home already- the day went by so fast!  Lily and I really enjoyed it! -Faith
