We left Sunday after church and headed to Kentucky. After the five hour drive we arrived at the hotel and went swimming! Monday morning we spent at the ark which was very interesting. The size was the most captivating part! MASSIVE! Noah had a lot of faith!!
We arrived home on Monday evening. Grandma and Grandpa stayed overnight and then left Tuesday morning. We spent the morning doing school and then spent the afternoon in town. It was rainy all day and rained all night, too, which is why we encountered a flood if you were wondering!!! Jared woke mom and dad up at twelve thirty saying the basement was flooded we called Kent over and then Faith and Reagan came over at 1:30 when I woke up! I took care of liberty of 2 hours (which is very tiresome with a not-tired Liberty) so I don't know tons about how bad it was but apparently water was pouring in just as fast as they were sweeping it up!The boys pushed shovels full of water creating a tidal wave! We finally discovered the problem at 3:30 or so and then spent about 45 minutes sweeping up a little bit of the water! We crashed back into bed at 4:30 and then woke back up at 8. We were back down stairs at 9 sweeping up water! Know we just have to let the fans dry it out and hopefully the smell well go away too!

The basement is freezing and really loud with all the fans!
I think there are five or six of them!
It will be nice to get the whole basement back together!
The Ark Encounter was really interesting and enjoyable! The Flood Encounter I would have been fine without!!-Lily
