Two weeks ago we picked up a newborn baby girl at the hospital and have had her here since then through foster care. She has turned our life upside down in the most delightful way :). We love on her all day - every day!
We have to be a little careful what all we post here of her, so that's it for now. Never fear, however... the problem does NOT lie in not having enough pictures of her :).
In other news.... wait, is there any other news?!!
There is actually :). Although we are all completely smitten and hardly manage to accomplish anything but snuggles, we have enjoyed other happenings recently between the seven of us...
Jared and Lily completed their Build a City event with our homeschool coop!
what their contribution to the city looked like...
It got exciting when they put it all together!
Although I had full intentions of going to check it out, some exciting things got in the way of that actually happening... (hint, a new baby girl :)). But from what I heard, it was a success!
Choir practices are still going well! The kids are fun to work with and we are looking froward to our performance coming up in a few weeks....
Between going back and forth to Zehrs for chores and taking on a new hobby of trapping out on some nearby land, he's off on his fourwheeler quite frequently. Gotta stay warm somehow! Of course, there is the option of catching your leg on fire to stay warm as you ride, which he tried out one day, but I think he'll choose more layers in the future...
quotes from piano students are the best! When he surveyed my dress and announced that I wore the grand staff, I had to admit, he was right on!
Mom and Lily enjoyed having some girls over for a fun sewing day. They spent their time making little dresses for Haiti!
out for pizza afterwards (thanks to friends for the gift card!)
What's fall without some leaves?
And I'll sign off with this... apparently someone around here made jack-o-lanterns one day!
We wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving! We are thoroughly looking forward to spending the day with family and friends and thanking God for all our blessings... especially that extra special pink bundle of sweetness :).
