As we planned (well, I mostly listened and agreed: the easy part), we had no true idea of how this was going to work. It not only worked, but ended up being what feels like a smashing success. The kids did an outstanding job, and the parents, too, for there were some really great speeches and props. I so wanted to walk around and take a picture of every single one.. but then, decided against it, considering I can't even keep up with pictures of my own kids. The pictures I did get just don't do justice to our room full of well-costumed historical figures. We opened the museum to the public (meaning friends and family primarily, but we should have spread the word!) for an hour and it was well attended that entire time.

(I'm pretty sure I don't have permission to post this.. but I just couldn't leave her out)
It was a great way to get really good at a speech...and not have to say it in front of an intimidating, larger audience (if you don't mind saying it no less than 20-30 times), Great job, kids! -Mom
