Summer, Here We Come!

(this post was drafted a couple weeks ago but never posted ... so ignore the slower schedule comment below and less wind for that matter. We'll leave it up to Mom to tell us about our busy weekend, though!)

Wow! Nothing speaks spring better than the weather we have had here these past few days! We have thoroughly been enjoying the calmer days - meaning less wind and a slower schedule. Both are enjoyed equally.

We finally found the kittens that have been hidden from us for several weeks! Not an animal lover, but these are just way too adorable not to love :).

planting tomatoes and peppers is such a good job done for another year! (nice job, dad... can we trade next year?!)

I know it doesn't compare to 370, Kate, but it was still a good job done! :)

we also planted basil... gotta love the shadow :)

early morning or late evening bike rides have become a regular favorite around here these days! 

The studies continue! :)

Asparagus and rhubarb have made up our diet as of late...

 We also spent a lovely afternoon honoring Malachi's 8th birthday at the cemetery... sending lots of love his way, although he's already smothered in more than we could imagine.

We're hoping for many more days of the same weather and filled with more of the like. This is our favorite time of year! -faith
