A Month Late, but a Memory Forever

Last month, our homeschool group went to the Musuem of Science and Industry with another homeschool group on a bus! We have never done that before but I have ridden on a bus once.

We started our day good and early and I sat with Mom on the bus up to Chicago. Once we got there, we split up into groups. I was in my parent's group which was good because I didn't know any of the other girls in my group. But I still had a great time and since one of the girls is my second cousin, I might see her again sometime.

One of my favorite parts was the mirror maze. I have never done anything like that before! It was so confusing and we had to lead our parents through it.

Over lunch we joined up with our families and did things with them instead of our groups. We watched a movie about D-day which I don't want to watch again.

this is Faith's group. She had fun too.

This was in the weather section. We had a little science presentation here. Their science experiment didn't reallly work either, so that was a comfort to Mom

people are always saying Marcus is shooting up! :)

this was like a giant treadmill - i felt like a hamster but i could do it pretty fast!

The last place we went was a big place where we could just play and this is when I had a good time with my new friends. It was my second favorite spot. Well, I really liked the fairy castle too but we didn't get any pictures of that.

On the way home I rode in my van instead of in the bus. Then I really had fun with girls The last stop was at a yummy pizza place. I was very tired when we got home.- Lily
