Holiday Magic

As a grand finale to our family Christmas, we met the Chicago Lemans at the Brookfield Zoo. At Christmas time they have the whole place decorated in Christmas lights: Holiday Magic.

the whole crew except dad who was taking the picture (he was too shy to ask someone to take it for him :))
We walked around a little to catch glimpses of some animals before it became really dark. It wasn't actually even that cold - especially with the sun out!
Lily and Hope :)

Grace and Faith with the zebra - I love zebras.

We got to see the giraffes indoors this time and they were so close! They are amazing creatures as well. They just walked back and forth and licked everything... even the wall because it had painted trees on it!! :)

I love giraffes! They look like sausage pizza :)

the polar bear enjoyed the cold ... I love bears.
I had never ridden on a carousel before so I was so excited to get to ride one with Hope and Lily. I rode on a grasshopper and he moved up and down while we moved just like a real grasshopper would (well... not quite that high).
I love merry-go-rounds!

the girls in front of the Christmas tree - I love Christmas trees!
this guy was pretty fun too - my favorite animal in the whole zoo!

I'm so glad we got to go the zoo again because I love zoos!! And I love the Lemans so it was great to see them, too!

And this wasn't at the zoo, but it's too fun not to add... with the winter magic swirling around outside, we went and gathered some snow to make snow ice cream!! I love snow and if you add some milk and sugar it's even better :).

I love snow ice cream especially if it has caramel and sprinkles on it!

I'm sad that Christmas is all over, but I can't wait till next, cause I love Christmas!

                                                                'Til next time - Kenan

with a little help from Faith (or perhaps it should be the other way around.... the sausage pizza thing came entirely from him though. Where he got that idea I have no clue, but if you use your imagination, he's kinda right! :))
