Remember the awesome crew that bailed us out {bucket-by-bucket} on the day our basement flooded? Well, we certainly haven't forgotten :). This past weekend, we invited them to a mystery meal: the Mystery of the Great Flood
| the menus, where they mysteriously filled out their order :) |
| For dessert Dad tried out his mini cheesecake pans on mini caramel apple, and s'more cheesecake. Amazing, as always. |
| the table filled with the essentials for cleaning up a flood :) |
| Kent and Bethany got to bring along two extras! |
| all, in all, they did pretty good with their food, although we had some mashed potatoes eaten with fingers... |
| some Salisbury steak eaten with hands... |
| and some mashed potatoes eaten with a cup :). but hey, it all seemed to work somehow! |
we had fun serving everything upstairs, and then eating with a fork and spoon ;).
It was a really fun evening! We'll have to do it again sometime, although preferably without the water mess coming first. We know there are many others who helped with lots that one bad weekend. Their help didn't go unnoticed - we appreciate it daily! :) Thanks again to every helping hand! -Faith |
