Sharing the Wealth...

A while back, Kate and I had the opportunity of talking to the Pontiac Rotary Club about making Little Dresses for girls in other countries. We talked about why we make them, showed how we made them, where we send them, and showed a video and lots of pictures. It went really smooth, and we were so surprised that at the end, several people made donations to the cause, and we ended up with a total of $150! We were shocked! It was a really neat! :)

they meet at a restaurant in Pontiac

We were just in need of some more supplies (bias tape, and elastic - we are still using fabric that's been given us), so we used the money to buy the supplies. So with more supplies, why not have another sewing day?!

I invited lots of girls, but must have picked a bad date, cause I didn't have a very good turnout! I actually invited a good friend from Washington - and I'm so glad she could come!! That made for four of us - it was lots of fun :).
yes, that's kenan for you.

we kept busy!!

thankful for more fabric!

We got a total of eight made, with a few more started. Thanks girls for coming!! My prayer is that the dresses we made will cause some little girl somewhere, to smile. -Faith
