Then and Now

Thirty some years ago we were this:

 Fast forward thirty years (or so) and now we have this:

two great friends!

Not long ago, we were blessed to host Phil and Donna for a wonderful weekend. I never tire of watching Lily and Larissa together- it reminds me so much of Donna and me not so terrible long ago. They played and played like you wouldn't believe. It was impossible to get them to go to bed that Saturday night. They don't get to live as close as Donna and I did, but they sure make up for it when we get the chance to be together!

And we can't forget these, too, now can we? They are so adorable! Who would have ever guessed we'd eventually end up with two sweet little boys just a week apart?
