Our BOOMing 4th of July, actually started on July 3rd. It was our week for farmers market, so we tried to make everything look a bit festive!

This was a lovely table decoration - a weed!
After Farmer's market, we headed to Deerfield to spend some time with the Leman's! We got there in time for some fun at their house before heading to fireworks, which they have on the 3rd. |

Kenan couldn't wait to see the
fowerworks, but after hearing the first BOOM, he spent the rest of the time huddled into Dad's shoulder :)

Thursday morning was absolutely gorgeous - perfect for eating outside! |

Me (Lily) and Hope, had such a fun time together. We played with dolls a lot, swam together, stayed up till midnight, and didn't want to leave each other! And now she gets to come to my house, and I cannot wait!!

We went to Botanic Gardens in the morning, which was so pretty! I went last year when I was in Deerfield but it was SO hot! This time was much more enjoyable :)
In the afternoon, it warmed up enough to go swimming for those who wanted to. Mitch and Mom went for a 7 mile bike ride, and Grace and I stayed back and did an awesome craft that we found on Pinterest! It (naturally) didn't work as well as it was supposed to....but it was still a lot of fun and I love how they turned out! We painted the tree on foam board, and then used the bottom of a 2 liter bottle to make the flowers!
Thanks Leman's for making our 4th of July BOOMing! -Faith
We left after supper. We were pretty close to home and we saw Sibley fireworks. We were right on time. And then we got even closer to home and we could see Chenoa's fireworks! Then on July 5th, we saw our neighbor's fireworks. That's a lot of fireworks, especially for Kenan (who didn't enjoy any of them)-Lily
Great pictures!!!! Looks very fun!
