Spending Time with a Family We Love

This past weekend, our family traveled to Kansas to spend time with a family we love. We were all terribly excited to spend time with our cousins and so the drive out seemed to be a bit long, but we eventually made it to those gravel roads and knew we were getting close! Jared told me that he loves gravel roads because when we start driving on them, he knows we are getting closer and closer to the Meyer's!! We arrived Friday evening and after many hugs, we settled down to play a few games and soon it was time for bed (at least for some of us).

On Saturday, we all enjoyed playing and working on the farmstead.

This is where Jared and Cole spent most of their time!

On Sunday, after church, we all piled in the our van, and even managed to pack in a few extras. Never mind the fact that we had six more people than we should have!

working on a VBS craft

and playing Liar with everyone!

We had such a great time with this great family! We love you guys so much  and wish you lived closer! Thanks for making our weekend so special! -Faith
