Digging for Treasures in Mexico - A Week in Mexico Part III

Hello!  This is Jared and Kyle.  This is our story of Ixtlan, Mexico.

I'm wearing Grant's hat.  Don't I look like a real Mexican?

We are messing around at Grant and Hannah's new house while the older boys and men dig trenches.  We were looking around in the rocks and we found some stuff - real treasures!  We found a 50th anniversary bowl, a plug-in, bones, and glass bottles.

We were being silly while we were waiting for customers to come to the dispensing room.

We enjoyed playing basketball and we still do.

We went to the school with Hannah and we made cats out of 8 hearts for Valentine's Day.

We ate bananas while trying to act like Curious George and the man with the yellow hat.

Well, it all started with Grant dumping a little water on me (Jared). We decided to get him back. So we got a cup of water and sat patiently on the balcony waiting for Grant to come and when he did come we grabbed the water, but unfortunately we missed. The next day, we tried again. We waited and waited. (Actually, at this point, the boys were observed praying together that they would be successful in getting Grant wet. As soon as the last of their prayer was uttered, Kyle looked up quickly and said, "well, he'll be coming now" :) what faith!!) Then he came out of the church and went to the neighbor's house. He came back with an umbrella. I guess he was scared. So that didn't work either. But, one thing did work. We put a popper toy inside his pillow. In the evening, when he was reading on his bed, he felt something. He put his hand in the pillow to see what it was and POP! We were glad it was the right pillow. 

It has been a fun vacation!
