Brothers' Cabin

Last weekend after church our family went over to Kent and Bethany's house for the evening. We rode on the four-wheeler, played on the merry-go-round, ate supper, went on a bike ride, and roasted marshmallows. Then, late at night, Dad, Jared, Kent, Brandon, and I went to a cabin. It's called the brothers cabin because it belongs to the brothers of Fairbury and Forrest church. It was made in 2006 and it is very close to a creek. Because of being close to a creek they put it on stilts so it's above the ground about 2ft. We got there about 9:00 and checked it all out. We fired up the generator so we would have some light (and air conditioning!) and then we told jokes and wrestled. Since it was still hot inside, we opened all the windows, but realized too late that we had let all the bugs in. We went to bed about 10:30. In the morning around 6:30 we all woke up. We made coffee and french toast for breakfast. Then we loaded up and headed back. We had a great time.

I made a model of the cabin out of lincoln logs so you get the idea. I couldn't make any steps though. -Marcus
