Is that Rain?!!!

If you don't already know, this year has been really dry in Fairbury. But this weekend it finally rained. Saturday morning it thundered and lighting. It was nothing new, a thunderstorm without rain (and this time we actually had several short power outages without rain!) but in the afternoon it started to sprinkle again, nothing new, it was going to be done pretty soon. But, no! In fact it started to pour. Of course we were all happy but we figured it would be done pretty quick.



after a little while, we decided this rain might be here to stay



so we went out to play

and take pictures

When we looked at the rain gauge it was an inch and a half.  -Marcus

And not only that, we saw a full rainbow stretched across the sky. We love rainbows! It was a great day.
