This past week I got to enjoy myself and have lots of fun while everyone else back home slaved in the garden! After a quick get-together of Mom's side of the family for Laura's baptism, I got to go home with my cousin Grace and spend Mon-Thurs with her family in their new house close to Chicago (my cousin Todd also went). We had so much fun! On Monday we went downtown Chicago and went to the Field Museum! We enjoyed the two extra exibits which were Extreme Mammals, and Living Life as a Bug.
After the Field museum, we went to Millienium Park and then did some shopping along Michigan avenue.
Tuesday morning, Grace and I worked on a really cool craft and in the afternoon we went to Lake Michigan and played on the beach!
On Wednesday, we swam in the lake that is right out their back door! Grandpa got them some truck tires to use for innertubes which was really fun!
Wednesday evening we decorated the table for fourth of July.
Thursday morning we went the Chicago Botanical Gardens which were so pretty!
Then in the afternoon, it was time to go already! I had such a great time! -Faith
