Blueberries at Midnight

 Tuesday night, Mom and I went into town and picked up blueberries that someone brought back from Michigan. We were going to be busy all the rest of the week, so we decided to just stay up late and get them done. We had  10 boxes of them (50 lbs). They took soooo long to do! They were on average pea size and for every third berry there was a stem! We got seven boxes done and finally at midnight we decided it was time to stop. I did two more boxes wednesday afternoon and we are enjoying the last box for eating fresh! We did enjoy a very good Lamplighter story while we stemmed and bagged and... they really do taste delicious! And they certainly will taste delicious (in spinach smoothies, more on that later) all winter long. -Faith
