Kansas, Here We Come!

Thursday evening, about 5:00, we started the seven-hour drive to Sabetha to visit some really special cousins. We arrived about midnight, quietly made our way inside, and went to bed. In the morning, we did all sorts of things! We fed and milked the goats, built a fort in the windbreak, jumped on the trampoline and soon it was time for dinner. The afternoon went just as fast, and what excitement filled the house when three, stinky, little pigs came! All too soon the great day was over and everybody went to bed. In the morning, we went to see how the molasses was being made! After dinner we left for Oakville. I don't think we realized just how tired we were! Kenan fell asleep within the first mile, and the rest of us all followed within the first hour (hopefully the driver was still awake)! We stayed with a nice family that night and then visited Oakville church. We left right after church because we had to be back for ACYF that evening. It was a great weekend!
