Bible Bee

Saturday was the BIG BIBLE BEE DAY! Scary! For those of you who don't know what the Bible Bee is.... well, throughout the whole summer you study really hard on a book of the Bible. (this year it was 1 Peter.) You also memorize as many verses as you can. Then at the Bible Bee you have a long written test to fill out and an oral test. At the beginning of the summer you can pick between the Timothy Track (an easier version,)or the National track which could lead you to the main National Bible Bee in which case if you win you are given $200,000 or something like that. This year I did the National Track (don't worry, I didn't make it to Nationals!) At the small local Bible Bee, I got second place out of fifteen children! I have to say it was a big , tiring, fun, nerve-wracking day! I think the best part of it was the driving part, because we got to spend the whole time with some of our best friends! -Faith
