Family Christmas 2019

We had our family Christmas on the 21st this year- the very first day of our Christmas break! It was a ton of fun and if I must say, a lot more comfortable than last year! (due to Reagan!!;)) Faith and Reagan arrived at noon and we had our Christmas dinner! It was Marcus' year so we had ribs, green beans, lettuce, cheesy potatoes, dinner rolls, and peppermint brownie dessert. It was a delicious meal thanks to Dad! After sitting at the table for awhile and doing dishes, we went into the living room and did stockings! Then soon after that, we did sibling draw names, followed by Mom and Dad's gifts and finally the kids' gifts from Mom and Dad. It as fun to watch everyone open their gifts and open mine as well! After we were done in the living room, we played ping-pong, took a walk (girls)/shot at targets (boys),  and then had appetizers. Then we made some music and finally after that played some games! It was all A BLAST!! It is really hard to believe that it is over already but I'll cherish the memories made forever!

Let the fun begin!!!!

It was delicious food!!

Meet Liberty's stuffed horse, Honey! She was a stocking stuffer....nice try, Dad....basically she was more like an extra Christmas gift!

Liberty really enjoyed opening up her stocking (actually they weren't stockings this year, but they were filled with the same things!!)

Dad is trying to explain why Liberty has the biggest stocking!!
 "Are you contradicting me??"

After stockings we did sibling draw names!

Jared gave this t-shirt to Marcus! The words say "I've got your back"!!!!:)

Mom and Dad always have a code on our Christmas gifts! This year it was continents!!

Liberty was thrilled with her four-wheeler!! Just like the boys!!!! She thinks she's pretty cool!

Unfortunately, we didn't get a picture of Mom and Dad opening their gifts but here is one of theirs that they got from Faith and Reagan! They say Grandma and Grandpa, est. 2020!!!!

Kenan got a game for Christmas and we tried it out after a game of ping-pong, appetizers, and some music! It was a really fun game! We all really enjoyed it! We played it for an hour-and-a-half before we realized it was ten p.m.! Not sure how Liberty slept through all our laughter! :)

Christmas is such a special time of year! A time we celebrate Jesus' birth and his love for us in coming down to earth!  A time to grow closer to each other and ultimately closer to Jesus! I am thankful for another year of great memories, laughter, joy, and family!

Liberty says "Have a VERY merry Christmas!!"
