This year for our trip with the Wagenbach family we went to Fair Oaks dairy. We arrived on Saturday and then we stayed at a hotel Saturday night and went to Lacrosse church on Sunday. Fair Oaks is a large farm with cows and pigs. We saw thousands of pigs and thousands of cows but we only toured a portion of Fair Oaks farm. The pig barn was filled with pigs all different sizes -little tiny, tiny babies to huge sows! It was neat to see the cow farm's system. All the workers knew what to do and they made sure the cows did what they needed to do, too! It was very neat! My highlight was watching two calves being born. It was really amazing! Another hit was the FREE u-pick honey-crisp apples! Each member of the family filled a bag, which was a peck... we got almost two bushel of delicious apples! It was really fun to pick them, too! Saturday night was a blast, too! When we got to the hotel, we wolfed down a late supper and then went swimming. After we had taken showers and put on our pj's, we played some games and then went to bed. After a long night of Liberty screaming to everyone in our hotel room that she didn't want to sleep in a foreign bed, we woke up and went to church. For supper we drove back to our house and Faith and Reagan joined us for supper. It was a great weekend!
