On September 13th, Cheer24 went on a bus trip to Chicago. We took a boat tour down the Chicago River and went through the locks to Lake Michigan. In the afternoon we went to a zoo and then back on the road again and supper at Pizza Hut.
Our tour guide pointed out a lot of interesting building and gave brief history on them.

Going through the locks was really interesting. One gate opened and you drove in the lock. Then the gate that you just entered closes and the ones that open to Lake Michigan open and let in a ton of water. The water actually rises three feet.

It was really cool to watch all the water gush in.
The dark cement is where the water rises to when
the water from Lake Michigan flows in.

It was a great trip. I hope we can do something like it again!!!:)
