I don't know if you understand or even care, but keeping this blog alive and interesting as gotten dramatically more difficult since November 3rd. You see, every time I go get pictures for a blog post, I see a camera roll full of pictures of the cutest little 7 month old (she really is the cutest - we're not just being biased) and yet I am restricted in which ones I can post!
As for a little update on our sweetie pie: she is growing rapidly. Her new things include eating real food like carrots and sweet potatoes as well as a few cheerios! She also has successfully mastered the art of making a mess through her clothes and thus has generated a lot of additional laundry. She loves her toes, rolls and moves around quite a bit, and can do a move similar to a push up :).
For Mother's day, we spent our Sunday evening in Peoria with Grandma B. and Grandma S.! We enjoyed a delicious feast prepared by Dad, and then enjoyed some time outdoors.
Most likely I didn't catch the frisbee, but since you can't tell that in the picture, I think it's a great capture :)
We also got to tag along with the neighbors and be guests right along with them. (What a great arrangement!) We enjoyed a wonderful day in Champaign/Mahomet, fellowshipping, recreating, and enjoying some of the first lovely spring colors! A big thank you to our hosts!!
Meet Marcus' hobby. We're not sure if it really drives more than it can't, but he enjoys messing around whether it's working or not :).
We loved having Cole, Aubrey and Haylie out last weekend! They were here for the graduation open house (more on that later!) but we squeezed in some adventuring down by the creek, picnicking, gardening and lots more while they were here! We attempted volleyball (we're hoping no one was watching!), sang rather obnoxious, failed at making ice cream desserts, and laughed hard (during the prayer no less...).
How does this not motivate us to get up at the crack of dawn every morning???
We've been doing a lot of watering these past few days. Between soaker hoses, sprinklers, sprinkle cans, buckets... at what point is it a concern that our well will go dry?
We also spent a lot of time this past month outside on the landscaping and lawn with our tree project out front and preparing for the open house. We have neighbors down the road who we often comment on their perfect property yet marvel at the fact that we rarely see people outside working. Someone here stated the fact that people probably say the opposite about us... they drive by and think, "They are always outside working but you know, somehow it never really looks that great..." haha :) Actually, it's still a work in progress, but we are getting somewhere and it's fun to work together!
The Blunr parking lot!

Lily has been doing a lot of sewing lately! From bibs to tote bags... she does a great job!
Finally getting some fresh garden produce!
And lastly... drumroll please... the bathroom project is a WRAP!!! We have been loving it!
That's about it for now...thanks for reading along, in spite of the lack of hundreds of pictures featuring a certain adorable little subject :).
