We now technically own a six bedroom house! If there ever was a prize for making the absolute most of a small house, I think we get it :). We were pleasantly surprised to find how much living space we actually do have when we finally got to the point where we could put Lily's belongings into my old room, Kenan's bed and closet into his new room, and move all my stuff over into my new room! We now have our living room back as simply a living room and our big van can be used as a transport vehicle again (in desperation, we placed mattresses and bed frames in the back of our van when the living room, garage, and everything else filled up :))! Oh, how lovely to have a place for everything, and everything in its place! Bring on the spring season!! :)
My new room turned out absolutely perfectly! It is so refreshing :) In fact, it seems to attract everyone and at any given time while I'm occupied with homework at my desk, it is possible for someone to just come on in and flop down on my new day bed... hopefully soon this newness will wear off :). I'm so grateful for Dad and all his patience with me - he is so sweet. I mean, who else would repaint a blue wall because it just wasn't quite the right color!? Never mind the fact that he made fun of me throughout the whole ordeal - I'm used to that. It's perfect now - thanks to you, Dad! xoxo
I haven't had a chance to put up too much wall decor of any kind, but hopefully soon! I'm wanting to add in some accents with a soft peach color, but we'll see how it turns out:). Mom and Dad did find a mirror though on their date last week. I love how it captured the two wall colors perfectly - perks of not having wall decor, I suppose!
My new school area! I think I could study for days on end here - haha, not, but it is an upgrade temperature-wise. :) And with sunlight streaming through the windows, I'm all set.
It's small, but I like it :). Thank you so much to my parents for making it possible - actually thank - you doesn't even come close.
I was having a really hard time capturing Kenan's room in a picture, but basically... it's as small as it looks ;). It's great for him, though!
He has a loft bed which leaves him a little space underneath to snuggle up and read or play with some legos ... that is when he's not too scared to be in there by himself :). The first night in his new room he ended up in Mom's bed, but he's doing good now. It's a perfect little place for him!
The fact that Dad didn't have to repaint those lovely stripes just yet helped him yield to a new room set-up ;). Doesn't he do great work?! I have to say, I'm gonna miss their colorful presence :). Lily is as happy as could be in this all-girl room... we're hoping to get her a new bed spread in the near future but for now, a little orange never hurt anything :).
Another credit for Dad - he successfully recovered Lily's simply said that was in her old room, stuck it on a brown board and framed it! It's perfect!!

| Mom also got a new bedspread this past week, so her room could almost pass for new, too! :) |
Ahh... our living room back in living room order! Perfect timing for our travel supper performances:). Our dress rehearsal Saturday was a little rough, but when our grandparents arrived to be the guests, we pulled it off without a problem (or very few problems, that is...). Now we are just praying for good health and nice weather as we have the real thing tomorrow and the next Friday... with Toastmaster graduation in between.... oh, and serving church lunch, and Dad's LSN conference and the first foster parenting class. But, at least the remodel project is finished!! :)
Counting our blessings,
Faith (and the rest)
