Cherished Times with *Old* Friends

We've written lots about all the fun times we've spent with old friends throughout the years. We make new friends but the old friends are still just as special as ever, if not more. And every time we're together we make more cherished memories with our old friends.

But this time, I'm not just talking about old friends where the friendship goes way back. I'm talking about old as in ... well ... higher up in years.

The Knapps got to come back for a long weekend to celebrate several things. The first was the Father Daughter dinner, which is always a highlight! Then on Friday night, Lexi, Megan, Kate and I got the opportunity to sing at Fairview Haven's annual ice cream social!! It wasn't anything big... just a few songs - but it was a good experience and of course it's always great to sing together :).

HE IS FAITHFUL!!!!!

Then after the ice cream social, we had planned a surprise birthday for Dana's 40th! The room was all decorated, cupcakes delivered, all the guests were there and waiting with high expectations...

We were all standing outside the elevator with cameras, balloons to throw at her, and ready to sing as soon as the elevator door opened. But every time the door opened and the song began, it wasn't Dana!

She finally came though, and was surprised for the most part :).

 Let the party begin!! :)

typical... just typical.

she even got a pile of {old} glasses to aid her in the years ahead :).

It was a lovely evening - eating, laughing {at some particularly good acting skills :)}, and just spending quality time with our awesome, old, friends. :) -Faith

ps. Hope I didn't offend you Dana :) And we're sorry we put the pictures on... we don't know how it happened - they just landed there :). You'll forgive us before you see us next, right?!
Happy 40 birthday - We love you!!
