Tote-ally Fun!

You know, it really is great when projects turn out the way you want them to! Because they don't always - not for me anyways :) I was browsing on Pinterest a while ago, and saw a cute idea for a tote bag that I really wanted to try! Here's how it turned out:

We actually just bought a canvas tote bag for pretty cheap at Hobby Lobby, and then I picked out some fun material scarps, and started sewing! Ruffles are so fun :)

 

 

Something else I saw on Pinterest, was making flowers out of twine. I tried it one evening and then sewed in on the tote bag - It kinda blends in with the bag a little, but it still adds something!

 

Guess what? Great news everyone!! Our countertops arrived and got installed this morning- they look awesome! Hopefully a real sink follows close behind :) -Faith
