When you are in the middle of remodeling your kitchen you have to wonder if there really is life outside it! But we've found it somehow. Actually, our kitchen project has been on hold for a bit as we wait for the next stage, so here's a few things that have filled our days. Who says winter days are dull?
We kept a family overnight a few nights ago, and Kenan made some new, adorable friends :)

After being inspired by one of her good friends, Mom has been experimenting with growing sprouts. She and Jared love them - in fact she loved her sandwich so much the other day, that she just had to take a picture of it!
Last Wednesday we had planned to go on a field trip, but since it was canceled due to the weather, we decided to turn the day in to a 'homeschooler's snow day' :) The Stollers came over for the afternoon, and we enjoyed sledding with the neighbors, sewing a few dresses, and playing Ping-Pong!
Last week we did some Valentines day baking for someone: Heart Sugar Cookies, and Strawberries and Cream Puppy Chow. Yum!
And this weekend we got to keep an awesome family at our house for two nights :) So glad you could come Meyers - we had such a great time!

| and computer games - always such an attraction! This past weekend was my baptism - it was something I'll never forget! I'm so thankful that so many of those closest to my heart were there to share it with me! And thanks to Jesus for answering all of our prayers for good health and manageable weather :). So, with that behind us, Dad is taking off work this week and working full time in the kitchen, so stay tuned! -Faith |
