A Winter Wonderland and a Frosty Snowman

We finally have a winter wonderland!! It is a perfect snow- light, fluffy, perfect amount, and perfect for a snowman. It's the snow we've been waiting three years for! The only not-so-perfect thing is that is stopped us from going to a wedding this afternoon - which we really wanted to go to- but it's been good to spend the day at home too :).

So, we woke up this morning and were delighted to see the lovely snow! Dad and the boys willingly shoveled the whole drive and then we trudged over to the neighbors to practice some music for a special occasion. After we got back, the boys made an awesome snowman - in fact, it was so big they could hardly get the the middle ball on top of the big one!

Wish you could have been here to help us Grandpa :)

Doesn't Frosty the Snowman look like a jolly, happy soul?!

After our snowmen were completed we tromped inside, wet and cold, to find a deliciously warm breakfast of pancakes and hot chocolate prepared by Dad!
