We are very excited to let you all know that our three year old thumb sucker, who persistently sucked his thumb, especially all morning while we did school, has stopped! He sucked it so much, that he continually had a callous on it and one day, it became a blister. It was really hurting him and he came whimpering to Mom. She looked sympathetically down at his two chocolate brown eyes, and told him that his thumb hurt because he sucked it so much, and it would go away if only he would stop sucking it. He sucked it a few times after that but eventually it "ran away" and he has never sucked it since! Grandma, were you praying??!

*We waited for six weeks to post this because we were  a little afraid that it wouldn't last for long. We are finally posting it and hopefully nothing changes!*

Kenan, you do look pretty cute when you suck your thumb....but we're glad you broke your habit! We love you!!
