In January I got a new guitar from the music center that I am taking guitar lessons at. I got it because my uncle's had some things that I didn't like about it (but it was very nice that he let me use it). It had a different finish on it that looks nicer but doesn't sound nicer. I am really enjoying lessons but right now I am learning bar cords that I think are humanly impossible, but I'm getting them. For my birthday I got a book by Dix Bruce that has some of my favorite songs in it. I really like it. -Marcus
Nice guitar! Jared has taken over my new guitar because he outgrew his. If I can be consistent in practicing (you know how Mom's have a hard time finding time for extra stuff) so that I improve I will buy a new one but for now I play his old one and he plays one that's more the size of yours.
ReplyDeleteWe just had our lesson today. We are starting to play together as a group. Two guitars, two fiddles, and a banjo. We also have an upright bass that needs repaired and Daddy is supposed to learn that! Won't that be fun!
