This post comes to you from the Dads of the group...
Group picture in front of the church
We shouldn't be surprised, but after living together for almost a week we are actually still friends and smiling in this picture!
The Stoller family
This Dad was very blessed to work along side his kids this week. They were a great help in the eye clinic. It was neat to watch them communicate with the patients in Spanish - at least enough to get the job done!
The Blunier Family
Yesterday (Saturday) we visited the market in Zamora. Hannah warned us that people will beg and try to sell us things. She told us to just say "no" and keep walking. An older gentlemen came up to us while we were at a standstill and went on and on about something. I kept shaking my head and saying no. As we walked away, Bryan told us he was trying to say we had a nice family!!! Well, if by chance that guy is reading this blog, I would like to say that YES, I have a WONDERFUL family!!!
los dos amigos
We suspect Grant and Hannah will feel something like this after we are gone.....especially since Grant has to take us to the airport at 4:30 tomorrow morning.
It has been a great week and we are very thankful to have learned to all know each other more than we did a week ago. Grant and Hannah are definitely a blessing to this church and this community. We want their families to know that while it may be difficult for you to know that they are so far away, they are being used by God in a way that is blessing many people.
Dave and Bryan (and all our families)
