Christmas in November

We went to L. Christmas last week. Mom was a L. but now she is a B. since she got married to Dad. So that is why we go to L. Christmas. It is very fun. We add Thanksgiving with our Christmas. We left to go on Thursday and got back on Sunday. Thursday we had Thanksgiving with the B's. Then we went to Grandma B.'s house. Then on Friday we had L. Christmas. First we had a recital. Most of the the children did it. Then we had a Thanksgiving lunch. Then we all did a skit. My favorite skit was the H's. They acted as if they were Grandpa and Grandma since it is their 50th anniversary. I laughed when Scott acted like Grandpa and yodeled really good. That was the funnest of all but not the best. The best was the next thing we did- it was getting the gifts. I got a story hour set and some gum and candy. I had a lot of fun with my cousins. After that big day some of my cousins, me and Lily went to Grandma and Grandpa's. That is where we slept. Then in the morning, Grandpa and Grandma took us all out to McDonalds. We all enjoyed the pancakes. Boy, they were good. Grandpa made it so fun because he is so funny. After that, we went to Grandpa and Grandma's 50th anniversary. It wasn't over until 10:00 and then the next morning we went to church.-Jared

Last Thursday was Thanksgiving and we went to Roanoke for church services. Then we went to a Thanksgiving gathering with dad's family. We then spent the night at grandma's house. On Friday was Christmas with mom's family. We do this because I have cousins that live far away that don't like to come back for thanksgiving and Christmas. There were tons of fun things to do at Christmas. First we did a piano recital. Next we did lots of different things like ping-pong and other physical games. Third, we did skits -that was a very fun thing because everybody had good skits. Then we took a picture of the grandkids and Grandma and Grandpa. Next we did the grab and opened presents. After that we just did about nothing but it was still lots of fun. -Marcus
