Chicago is Fun

I went to Chicago with Mom and Dad.But Dad was not there that much because he had a conference. It was only 2 hours and 30 minutes from our house to Chicago. When we got there we unpacked and went to eat. We went to Rainforest Cafe. I had chicken fingers and lemonade. Next we went back to the hotel to relax before going to bed.

Next day I woke up at 6:30. Dad was getting reedy to go to the conference. Mom was still sleeping. Finally she woke up, then we went to eat in the lobby. Then we went to the Children's museum for the day. If you go to www.chicagochildrensmuseum.org/skyline.html  and then type in our code, which is 35q2z8, you can see one thing we did! 1:00 or 1:30 me and Mom went to a IMAX, it was about elephants and monkeys that were orphans.Then we went back to the hotel and I played with my new Legos from the Lego store. Then Dad came back,we left for supper, I had grilled cheese and broccoli for supper. Then we went back and went to bed, well !!!! some of us Mom stayed up until 2:00 reading.

The next day I awoke at 7:00 and Dad was soon leaving. Mom was awake.Then we went to the lobby. I had pancakes and bacon. The we went shopping for the morning. I watched Charlotte's Web and Curious George that afternoon. I played farm stuff and I had mini chocolate chip cookies that I had picked out at Dave's. They were good and they were perfect because they looked just like a load of rocks in my trailer. We had very cheesy pizza that night for supper. It was so cheesy I only ate a half a piece and Dad and Mom only had one piece. I don't think that has ever happened before.

The last morning, which was Friday, I woke up at 7:00 and we went to eat in the lobby. If you have ever been to Embassy Suites, you would know how big a deal this is. I had biscuits and gravy and bacon and yogurt and Fruit Loops. Then we went swimming for one hour. Then Dad got back and we had to go home. It was incredibly fun. Mom and I had a great time! -Jared
