For this month's field trip, the homeschool group went to two different museums. The first one was called the War Museum. The two tour guides both fought in a war. One of them fought in the Korean war and the other Vietnam. (This was only wars back to World War II). They told us stories about experiences they had, which were pretty neat. One was the man's best friends stepped on a German land mine and got his legs blown off. They put him on a helicopter but he died within ten minutes. He also had to tramp through the jungle, which would have been hard because it was one hundred and ten degrease, amd they had a one hundred pound pack on their backs.
The other museum was about Pontiac cars (one of my favorite kinds). It was very fascinating how one couple has enough collectible cars and related items to fill up one whole museum. I guess you need to go see it yourself if you want to know more.
