Two weeks ago, we went to Bloomington and attended a homeschool class at the Children's Discovery Museum. This time we went it was even more exciting then before. First of all, Jared got to attend a class, and second, we met A. Dawn, Todd, Elise and Noah. The younger kids' class was all about color, and they got to make some special things, and then our class was about natural disasters. We had tsunami and earthquake experiments, and then we made a volcano. Unfortunately we ran out of time to erupt it, but we still had fun designing it! It was a great day!

On Monday (Labor Day) we met Neil and Luann at Mathiessen State Park. It was a great experience also! We had a lot of fun down in the canyons and maybe it was a good thing there wasn't much water!! We had a nice picnic lunch and then did a little more hiking. The only downfall of it all was that everybody else decided to enjoy the outdoors at Mathiessen as well (it was extremely crowded!). -Faith PS the weather was absolutely fantastic!
