What is so special about Thursdays? And what does soup have to do with it? Well every Thursday I have my violin lesson and then go to the nursing home to volunteer. Dad and I get back home at about 5:15. Mom and the others usually have already eaten the soup that I prepare on Wednesday (which Mom says has been a life-saver). Dad and I gobble down our soup and then we all skedaddle out the door by 5:30(hopefully)! Sometimes we leave Kenan at the neighbors or our babysitter comes. We drive to Congerville to record our CD that we are working on. After all the microphones and stands and head phones are set up we start singing, and singing, and singing. Ben (he is the one that records) sits in one room with the door closed and we are in another room. He can talk to us through the microphones and we can talk to him! It is really cool. Last night he said, "You wouldn't believe some of the things I hear back here!" Later after he was explaining something to us he said, "Does that make sense?" we answered with a "Yes" and then in a whisper Jared replied, "No. It makes dollars!" We all got a kick out of that! Last night was our third Thursday to go over there, and we are really enjoying it!-Faith
Notice that Dad took a little nap after waking up at 4:30 in the morning and driving to Springfield for three days in a row!
Looking forward to hearing the CD! -sally
