The whole purpose of this blog entry is to thank the one person who posted a comment to ask about our turkey manure. I guess I will spoil you and tell you all! Well back to the Turkey Manure. We got home from writing class about 4:30 and got started folding the wash, and Marcus well.. who knows what he was doing, but anyway the phone rang. It was dad. He said he would be home in about fifteen minutes and we needed to be in dirty, old clothes when he got home. He got home, we hopped in the truck and drove about 2 miles to a huge pile of TERRIBLE smelly, dry, hard-to-scoop-up turkey manure. No Skid loader anywhere in sight. Just four shovels, any kind we could find in the shed (which included a snow shovel!) We finally got the job done, and came home and spread it all over the gardens. We actually had to make another trip on top of it all, but I tell you what. Aren't we glad for mom who had a nice steaming supper all ready to go when we got inside!
Thanks again for the comment, Sally!-Faith
