Basement lights out more often than not
It's summer.
Most of the packets empty of seeds
Much of the garden showing signs of weeds
It's summer.
No more school like we usually think of it
Mornings not full to the brink with it
It's summer.
But at Willow Woods Academy
We've no end to the learning you can see
It's summer.
Daily there's much left for us to discover
Of all the wonders of our Creator
Even though it's summer.

Yes, we are done with another school year- have been for a few weeks. And yes, there's still plenty to do. Especially for the teacher, who is learning all year 'round, too- learning how to gently train hearts...learning how to capture the wonder of the moment...learning how to use more words of grace...learning how to open the gift of life more slowly... learning how to pay thanks to God at all times.-Kara

Thanks for another great year of education, Mrs. Blunier! You are such a great teacher. If these children learn as much as you know, they will be the most intelligent students in the World!! Yeah, things may not always look rosy around the house, but you are so REAL! Enjoy the summer and keep up the good work! You are so loved....
