On Saturday, Jared, Dad, and I went to Spence Farm and learned how to make maple syrup. We went in the woods and went into the sugar house where they were making syrup. Awhile ago, I went and got to actually tap a tree and hang the bucket. I could see the sap dripping out. This time, they taught us about making syrup. We didn't get to see the syrup bacause we had to leave because Jared had to go to the bathroom.
It takes 40 gallons of sap to make one gallon of syrup. They sell one gallon for 70dollars. We did not buy any. -Marcus
